Van​ity Ink Houston began as Brows by Karissa in 2018. Karissa specializes in restoring  brows for women and men through microblading and microshading.

Microblading is a form of cosmetic tattooing performed on eyebrows. It is done manually using a hand tool, depositing pigment in the second layer of the skin. This technique allows the artist create fine strokes into the brow area, mimicking hair.

Microshading is a technique that is more a "Makeup look" with a shadow, filled effect.
