How long do permanent brows last?

Results typically last 1–3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Oily skin and sun exposure can cause faster fading.

 

Does it hurt?

Most clients report minimal discomfort. A topical numbing cream is used before and during the procedure to keep you comfortable.

 

How long is the appointment?

Appointments usually take 2–3 hours, including consultation, mapping, and the procedure.

 

Is a touch-up required?

Yes. A perfecting session is recommended 6–8 weeks after your initial appointment to refine shape and color.

 

Who is NOT a good candidate?

 

• Pregnant or nursing

• Active skin conditions in the brow area

• Certain medical conditions (consultation required)

• Very oily or problematic skin (results may vary)

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

To ensure the best results, please follow these guidelines:

 

2 weeks before:

 

• Avoid Botox or fillers near the brow area

• Avoid chemical peels or aggressive skincare

 

 

48 hours before:

 

• No alcohol or caffeine

• Avoid blood thinners (ibuprofen, aspirin, fish oil, vitamin E)

 

 

Day of appointment:

 

• Come with clean skin (no makeup on brows)

• Avoid working out before your appointment

• Eat beforehand to avoid low blood sugar

 WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR BROW APPOINTMENT

Immediately after:

 

• Brows will appear darker, bolder, and more defined

• Slight redness and sensitivity is normal

Days 3–7:

 

• Brows may begin to flake, scab, or peel

• Color may look uneven or patchy (this is normal!)

Days 7–14:

​

• Brows may appear lighter or faded—this is part of the healing process

• “Ghosting phase” can occur where pigment seems to disappear

Weeks 4–6:

 

• Color resurfaces and softens into a natural finish

• Final results begin to show

DO:

 

• Keep brows clean

• Follow aftercare instructions exactly

• Apply recommended ointment sparingly

 

 

DON’T:

 

• Pick, scratch, or peel the brows

• Get brows wet (no swimming, saunas, heavy sweating)

• Apply makeup on the brow area during healing
